11/2018 – Three Sigma S/W has been acquired by GCOM Software LLC

As of November 9, 2018, Three Sigma Software, Incorporated was acquired by consulting firm GCOM. Three Sigma Software, Incorporated operates as a WIC implementation and services company. The company’s software serves families in 11 states, 10 Indian reservations and 1 U.S. territory. Its customized WIC systems offer solutions for both EBT and coupon-based WIC environments, support scanners and signature pads, and allow for interfaces to many other state services.  GCOM delivers innovative technology solutions to the public sector, with a focus on modernizing and consolidating legacy IT systems in the vital records, public health, public safety, licensing and permitting and cyber security markets. 5/2018 – Illinois Transfer and Implementation Contact Signed

Three Sigma Software has been notified that the contract to modernize Illinois's WIC system has been approved. The contract was signed in early May and a Kick-off meeting is schedule for the week of May 21st.

4/2018 – New WIC begins Pilot Operations

Three Sigma Software and the New York WIC Program began their NYWIC Pilot in April 2018. Statewide rollout is scheduled to begin in August 2018 with completion in early 2019. The New York system interfaces with the Conduent eWIC system.

4/2018 – National WIC Association

Three Sigma Software is pleased to have been a Gold sponser at the National WIC Association Education and Training Conference & Exhibits (NWA Conference) in Chicago.

4/2018 – South Carolina Kick-Off Meeting

Three Sigma and South Carolina conducted a Kick-off meeting in Columbia, South Carolina on April 16, 2018. The South Carolina MIIS system will be a transfer of the WOW system developed for Michigan/Florida/Indiana/New York with features added from other state system as required. When completed and operational, the South Carolina MIS (SCWIC) will be hosted within the TierPoint Data Center located in Baltimore Maryland..

4/2018 – California Awarded

Three Sigma Software has been notified that they have been awarded the contract to modernize California's WIC system. To accomplish this modernization Three Sigma Software will use the Michigan/Florida/Indiana/New York System as the transfer system and add Illinois specific requirements.

3/2018 – South Carolina Awarded

Three Sigma Software has been notified that they have been awarded the contract to modernize South Carolina's WIC system. To accomplish this modernization Three Sigma Software will use the Michigan/Florida/Indiana/New York System as the transfer system and add Illinois specific requirements.

2/2018 – Three Sigma Software Completes SOC 2/Type 2 Data Security and Compliance Audit

Three Sigma Software has successfully completed a SOC 2/Type 2 data security and compliance audit under the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) guidelines, for the period July 1, 2017 through December 31, 2017 with no exceptions. As with last year's successful completion of this examination, a finding of zero exceptions further demonstrates Three Sigma Software's steadfast commitment to maintaining and preserving the security, integrity, and confidentiality of its clients' data.

The third party examination was administered by the professional audit staff at A-lign, a nationwide security and compliance solutions provider.
